Pathways
The academy is the pride of Hastings United Football Club, producing graduates throughout the years such as Davide Rodari, Adam Lovatt, Tom Chalmers, Jess Wright, Tianna Tapp and Freya Hollister.
Our pathways allow our players to start from as young as 3 years of age and develop as young people and players through our development phases and into our men’s and women’s 1st teams.

Liam
Liam started in our Foundation Phase as a young player and developed through our YDP phase and into our U18 programme.
Liam is now currently lead coach for our academy boys teams and heads up our community sessions with aspirations to continue to work in football alongside his academic studies.
We are extremely PROUD of Liam and his resilience and determination to SUCCEED in his chosen pathway.

Tianna
Tianna started with our boys academy as the only girl in a team and really showed her potential at an early age. However, with the birth of our girls academy – Tianna then progressed through the phases and transitioned from our U16 girls into our Women’s 1st team.
Tianna has been offered a place with a University in the United States of America on a football and education scholarship programme with our partners at Skiltek Sport USA.
We are extremely PROUD of Tianna and her SUCCESS story so far.

Davide
Davide started in our academy and progressed through our education programme at East Sussex Coast College before becoming a 1st team regular and then signing a professional contract at Crawley Town FC.
Davide is a great role model for our boys and girls academy players. We are extremely PROUD of Davide and his SUCCESS story so far.

Jess
Jess started in our Youth Development Phase in the 2022/23 season and quickly progressed to our Hastings United FC Womens 1st team.
Jess is currently working towards her coaching badges in the academy and assists with our Pre-Academy and Community sessions.
Jess is a great role model and will inspire young girls and boys in our academy. We are extremely PROUD of Jess and her SUCCESS story so far.
