- The coaching philosophy at Hastings United F.C. Academy is built around a player – centred approach to support the individual within a team game.
- Our coaches are hardworking, enthusiastic, and encouraging whilst being good role models to our young players.
- Hastings United F.C. Academy coaches will look to focus on players’ strengths as well as addressing weaker aspects in their game. They will use a variety of styles and strategies to teach the game.
- Coaching staff will receive CPD (continued professional development) throughout as this is a huge priority to developing good young people and players.
- Across every development phase, coaching staff at the Academy will be working hard to develop not only good footballers, but also good individuals – preparing every player for life on and off the pitch.

The Academy is the pride of Hastings United Football Club, producing graduates throughout the years such as Davide Rodari, Adam Lovatt, Tom Chalmers, Jess Wright, Tianna Tapp and Freya Hollister.
Our pathways allow our players to start from as young as 3 years of age and develop as young people and players through our development phases and into our men’s and women’s 1st teams!
